Getintent released updates for effective targeting and campaign management

The new features have simplified targeting setup, creative work, and domain list management.

In digital advertising, every minute of setup, every extra click, and every targeting inaccuracy costs money. The more complex the process, the higher the risk of errors and inefficient spending.

The Getintent platform (part of GPM Ads) automates routine tasks and adds features that not only improve the interface but also significantly reduce campaign management time.

Key changes and their practical application:

1. Precise targeting for OS and browser versions.

One of the key updates is the enhancement of targeting tools for OS and browsers. Now parameters are easier to set, and there is an option to exclude specific browser versions through negative targeting.

What has changed:

  • The targeting setup interface for OSes and browsers has been updated

  • The feature of excluding certain browser versions (e.g., outdated or unstable) has been added

This is especially useful for optimizing impressions: you can exclude browsers with low conversion or high bot activity, thus more accurately reaching the target audience

2. Automated Black/White lists (a list of platforms where ads should or should not appear).

Working with domain lists has become easier: now most of them are updated automatically, and names are standardized for convenient search.

New features include automatic update of most lists. Search by prefix GI_ (e.g., GI_Children’s content or GI_High bot activity). Lists are used for both positive and negative targeting.

This allows for faster exclusion of irrelevant platforms or, conversely, focusing on priority ones.

3. Bulk editing of creative content and marking of social advertising.

Creative content management has become significantly more convenient:

  • Bulk editing of creative content saves time during mass changes.

  • The ability to rename creative content right at the upload stage.

  • Automatic URL substitution* (redirect address, impression tracking, and more) has been implemented.

Improvements have been made in batch uploading of creative content:

  • The ability to rename creative content at the upload stage has been added.

  • Automatic data substitution from the first line for fields “Redirect Address”, “Impression Tracking”, and “URL for ADO Registration”, “Advertiser Domain” has been implemented.

The feature of social advertising has also been added, which is automatically transmitted during registration in ADO. This is important for compliance with legal requirements.

4. Search for creative content and general domain lists.

The interface has been enhanced with two convenient features:

  • Search for creative content by name or ID (Identifier — a unique code assigned to a user, object, or process in a digital system) — no more manual searching for the necessary materials.

  • General domain lists between advertisers — now you can use the same White/Black lists in different campaigns.

How does it work?

1. Collect all lists from one advertiser

2. Contact support — specialists will set up access for other accounts

3. Done — the lists are available to be used for targeting

This is convenient for agencies and large advertisers working with common themed or brand-safety lists (a set of measures to protect a brand from negative mentions in the information field).

Getintent updates are aimed at simplifying tasks and improving targeting accuracy. New features, such as bulk editing of creative content, automated domain lists, and enhanced targeting tools, help advertisers optimize campaigns and reduce time costs.
