Gazprom-Media Holding will partner with the 26th Media Industry Forum CSTB.PRO.MEDIA 2024

The Forum will be held on February 28–29 at LOFT HALL.

The Forum’s events will bring together executives and specialists from media holdings, telecommunications companies, multi-service network operators, streaming platforms, content makers and distributors, advertising agencies, and other media professionals. Yulia Golubeva, Deputy CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding, will speak at the main event of the CSTB.PRO.MEDIA business agenda: the Strategic Session entitled “A Stress Test for the Media Industry. Technological and Content Import Substitution”. The session is dedicated to the issues of substitution of Western tools and technologies in the telecommunications and media industry, the government’s incentives for this process, and the technological independence of Russian companies. Today, Russian developments and content not only compete with foreign ones, but also attract a wide audience of subscribers and viewers. The discussion will involve the heads of major media companies and research centers, as well as government agencies represented by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
The key part of the CSTB.PRO.MEDIA Forum’s agenda concerns issues of production and distribution of audiovisual content. These issues will be addressed primarily during the sessions “Paid TV” and “Online Platforms”. The “Online Platforms” session includes the analytical block with an overview of the Russian online video market and a panel discussion dedicated to the dynamics of original content production in 2023–2024, changes in the pricing policy of online cinemas, and non-scripted formats. The focus of the “Paid TV” session is new content strategies and the demand for Eastern content. Roman Stolyarsky, Deputy CEO of TPO Red Media, and Alexey Korlyakov, Head of the Format Acquisitions and Research at TNT, will join market leaders to analyze trends, challenges, and prospects of paid TV.
As part of the session entitled “Interactive Advertising. Trends, Technologies, Tools,” Alexey Filia, Director of Strategy and Advertising Product Development Department at Gazprom-Media Sales House, will assess the development of TV in the digital environment. Other experts will also discuss new advertising niches, monetization tools, and improvements to the TV research system.
The rapid development of innovative technologies that automate and improve many processes in the media industry is in the spotlight of the Forum’s business agenda. Valeria Rodina, PR Director of the Insight People production center, will speak at the session entitled “Aritficial Intelligence in Video Content Production”. On the agenda: drivers and risks of using artificial intelligence in the media, neural networks in cinema and video, XR/VR/AR and other innovative tools.
